Biography

Shahid Kapoor born February 25, 1981 in Mumbai, India is a Bollywood actor and model.

Shahid was born to actor Pankaj Kapoor (Karamchand) fame and actress/classical dancer Neelima Azeem. His parents divorced when he was three and he usually lived with his mother. His step-mother is Supriya Pathak. Shahid Kapoor has a little brother and sister called Ruhan and Sanaa. He's also the step brother of Ishaan Kapoor who he starred with in the film "Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi".

He is a trained dancer and studied dancing with Shiamak Davar. He did extra roles and has starred in several music videos and commercials.. He stands at 5' 7" (1.70 m).

His debut film "Ishq Vishk" (2003) was a success. He received the Filmfare Award 2003 in the Debut category for his performance along with the same award from the Star Screen Awards and the Zee Cine Awards.

In 2004, he starred in two more films: "Fida", a thriller co-starring Kareena Kapoor and Fardeen Khan as well as "Dil Maange More", a romantic comedy alongside Soha Ali Khan, Tulip Joshi, and Ayesha Takia. Both films bombed at the box office, and Kapoor received positive reviews for his performances.

In 2005 all three of his films, "Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi", "Deewane Huye Pagal", and "Shikhar" failed to do well at the box office but his performances were praised. He received a Star Screen Best Actor Nomination for his work in "Shikhar".In 2006, Shahid received his first box office success since his debut with the multi-starrer, "36 China Town". Despite mixed reviews the comic-thriller became an above-average success.

Shortly after the release of 36 China Town, Shahid's second 2006 release, "Chup Chup Ke" released, which was an average success.In the summer of 2006, Shahid embarked on a World Tour along with fellow Bollywood stars, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, John Abraham, Esha Deol, Mallika Sherawat and Zayed Khan.

His most recent film "Vivah" along with Amrita Rao was a blockbuster despite its outdated theme, continuing steady in the top five at the Indian box office even in its thirteenth week.His performance was well appreciated with audiences and critics both in India and abroad.

Shahid's new movie "Fool and Final" released on June 1, 2007, gained average reviews. He will soon be seen in two upcoming films - "Jab We Met" by Imtiaz Ali opposite Kareena Kapoor, and one by Aziz Mirza opposite Vidya Balan.

Story:
In college Raj Malhotra (Shahid Kapur) was numero uno. In academics, sports, dramatics and touted as the next cover of Time magazine. But four years after winning the best-student-of-the-year trophy from his architectural college, he's wondering why a brilliant architect like him, with designs to set the Canadian landscape on fire, is still struggling to find that One Big Chance to showcase his mettle.

Story:A slick diamond robbery takes place in India. The robber is none other than Rocky (Chunky Pandey) who's the nephew of Chowksi (Gulshan Grover), a Don based in London. Chowksi tells Rocky to sell the diamond to his brother Lalwani (Asrani) in Dubai.

On the other hand, the local mafia in Dubai, Moscow Chikna (Arbaaz Khan) is torturing Choubey (Paresh Rawal) because he was unable to return the money he had loaned from Moscow Chikna. Moscow Chikna asks Choubey to get the diamond for him, only after which he will leave him. Choubey gets along with Raja (Shahid Kapoor), a fast robber, and Tina (Ayesha Takia) who's his niece to plan the robbery of the precious diamond.

Lucky (Viveik Oberoi) and Bob (Suresh Menon) own a small video and game parlour in Dubai.

J.D (Zakir Hussain) is a big underworld Don, who controls all of Dubai's illegal gambling and fights. J.D's men also get girls from India to Dubai promising them jobs. But once in Dubai, the girls are forced to work in dance clubs. One of them is Payal (Sameera Reddy). But Payal manages to escape from there. J.D is very upset as he really likes her. He orders his men to find her.

J.D's men are looking for Payal in the market place. Right there are Bhabhi (Sharmila Tagore) and Bhaiya (Om Puri) who are quiet shaken when they see Payal being taken away by the men. They call Munna (Sunny Deol), who is Bhaiya's brother, to save her. Munna enters in a heroic manner and knocks them out. They all then take Payal home. Payal eventually falls in love with Munna.

Bhabhi's son dies in an accident two years back, which completely shakes her. Munna then finds Raja, who is a look alike of her dead son. Munna hires Raja to play her son for a handsome amount. Raja is anyway a crook and does anything for money. He agrees to do so.

Along with this, Raja is now planning the robbery with Choubey and Tina. They hire Pattu (Johnny Lever), who's famous for his driving skills, to help them flee after the robbery.

When Rocky lands in Dubai, he gets in touch with Moscow Chikna to buy guns. But he is well aware who Rocky is. He asks Rocky not to pay for the guns instead bet on his behalf at J.D's illegal bookies. Moscow then instructs Choubey, Raja and Tina to kidnap Rocky outside the bookies.

Outside the bookies when they do not get hold of anything they plan to rob the bookies. But again they come out empty handed. As they come out they are overwhelmed to find Rocky. They kidnap him and take him to their junk shop. Moscow Chikna shoots Rocky and takes the diamond away leaving them with the body.

Meanwhile J.D learns that some men attempted to rob his bookies. Agitated he comes to Choubey's junk shop. There he finds out that Rocky was the one who was carrying the precious diamond. He tells Choubey and gang that he will spare them only if they get him the diamond.

Chowksi who comes down from London realizes that Rocky is missing. To find him he hires G9 (Jackie Shroff). After this all the stories inter cross.

Story:
Poonam (Amrita Rao) is an upper middle class girl who lives in the small town of Madhupur. Story:

Story:

Story:
